Within the last year, my husband bought himself his first adult cowboys boots. They were brown durango’s and he wore them so much he soon begged for some new ones in black for Christmas. Well he had also recently purchased a motorcycle so I ordered these boots the same size as his cowboys boots and gave them to him for Christmas. He certainly wasn’t expecting these boots and might have been a little disappointed they weren’t the black armadillo boots that he asked for.br /Well it has been around 2 weeks and he absolutely loves these boots!!! The rubber bottoms are great when he is on the bike and they were easy to break in. He wears them all the time now and says they were his favorite gift from this holiday season.br /He did say the would prefer floorboards rather than pegs for his motorcycle, but he is always looking for new things to upgrade on that thing anyway. br /br /These were a great buy. br /br /

I was attracted to these boots because of the laces and buckles and ordered the graphite, associating Graphite with the color of a pencil lead.
That is what a pencil lead is made of: graphite… isn’t it?

I was a little disappointed to find that they would coordinate well for the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz.

The graphite is Aluminum Foil Colored.

I still liked them, but the boots seemed particularly small in the shaft. Maybe they are supposed to be somewhat fitted. I have skinny legs and ankles and (somewhat narrow feet too…

But I actually experienced a moment of panic with the difficulty zipping them over my ankles.

However, I had ordered a size 7-instead of my normal 7.5-because boots often run large. Not the case with these. They seemed quite small-especially in the shaft.

I am going to try this in a different color and a full size larger to see if there might be some ease in the shaft.

They are otherwise quite cute.

These are pretty solid boots for the rain. The only down side is that they slip a little too easily and they’re a bit uncomfortable if worn over prolonged periods. Adding foot pads can fix that, though. Overall, a good purchase that I’m happy I made.

I really like these boots. They’re comfortable, stylish and rugged enough to be used in a variety of conditions. Also, a nice benefit is that they’re suprisingly lightweight. My one complaint is that they’re a little too wide for my foot. I have a standard width foot (I think!) and these boots are definitely wider than I’d like them to be. If I were to order them again, I’d opt for a narrower width instead of the standard (”M”) width. Overall a good boot at a decent price.
